I can not think of a single song on any of Jimmy Buffett's albums that I don't love. My favorite depends on my mood and the weather. Here are ten songs that have inspired some of my paintings and links to videos.
12 Volt Man
Jimmy said this was "one of my favorites." It inspired a fun beach scene watercolor.
Margaritaville
This is the song that kicked Jimmy into the stratosphere and launched his business empire. (Not to mention a few hangovers!) The Inspiraton for three paintings "Flip Flop Margarita", "Pop-top Crab", and my best selling "Lost Shaker of Salt,"
FINS
All parrot heads know the phrase "Fins Up!" This song was always one of the highlights of Jimmy Buffett's concerts. When you heard the band start to play the theme from "Jaws" you knew it was coming! The inspiration for a pair of my watercolor prints.
Equal Strain On All Parts
A relaxing song with a great message.

It's Five O'Clock Somewhere
Not only did this son inspire on of my paintings I'm sure it has also inspired a good bit of day-drinking.
Pirate looks at 40
In it's essence this a rather sad song about being born too late and lost potential, but Jimmy has said his audience found it source of fun and call to party. I was inspired to paint "A Parrot Looks at 40." (BTW, Mile Marker 40 is at the end of the Seven Mile Bridge in the Keys)
