David K. Jones grew up in Lubbock, Texas. His mother was a talented professional artist and his father was an honest lawyer. In high school, he worked nights at a local radio station hoping that job would help pay for college and his dream of becoming an architect.  But for some reason, he ended up as a successful morning radio show host in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Tampa, and Miami. While he was waking people up with a laugh, he was also selling and exhibiting his art. Now living near the beach David is a Parrothead that concentrates on painting Florida coastal life with a humorous twist. His work is bright, light, and fun.
